Comfortable Stay with Welcoming Amenities

We enjoyed a lovely two-night stay. The cozy lobby, complete with a fireplace, made for a relaxing atmosphere. Try the complimentary hot beverages! Our king suite with a balcony was a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Lake Placid.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn in Lake Placid. Their breakfast options impressed me, and the tranquil lake views provided a peaceful ambiance. Minor inconveniences with housekeeping arose, but the overall experience remained good. I'd love to return for more adventures here!

Lake Placid's food scene is a culinary treasure! I feasted on mouthwatering sushi at Mito Japanese Steakhouse and can't stop thinking about the pizza from Main Street Pizza and Pasta—both within easy reach of the hotel! The hotel lobby was cozy, with complimentary tea and coffee to keep the good vibes rolling.

Despite that hiccup, the overall experience was still top-notch!

The fire pit was a hit for s'mores, and the staff were super friendly, especially Tiana and Luis. The view of the lake was stunning! Only wish the check-in process was smoother—had to wait a bit longer than expected. The breakfast area was nice, though nothing too fancy.

Nice cozy lobby with a fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating. The hangout space offers beautiful views that enhance relaxation, especially from a balcony room overlooking the lake.

Construction is a major drawback. Long elevator wait times due to extensive work. A huge dumpster right at the entrance makes it tough to maneuver. The elevator's worn pads contribute to an awkward atmosphere, and the banging noises from renovations can be distracting enough to disrupt tranquility.

amazing access to mirror lake and downtown attractions

I really loved the beautiful deck overlooking Mirror Lake, and the hotel was just a few steps away from the main street and all the amazing shops and restaurants in town that I could easily explore during my stay as a single traveler.

The location, directly across from a beautiful lake and close to local attractions, is a major highlight. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. However, the digital check-in promised was unavailable at arrival, and the breakfast offerings were quite limited compared to expectations. Additionally, the insufficient S'mores kits for the fire pit were disappointing.

Great getaway destination!

The room had two queen beds, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a microwave. Loved the complimentary tea and coffee available 24/7. The indoor pool and hot tub were well maintained. The views of Mirror Lake were absolutely stunning, making it perfect for swimming and kayaking. Cozy fire pit for evening s'mores was a nice touch.

The pool and hot tub were perfectly maintained, providing a refreshing end to our adventures. We also loved the evening popcorn and hot cocoa.
